Devrah Hart RN, MA in Applied Behavioral Sciences, has devoted over 30 years to learning and practicing the healing arts. Her training is deep and diverse. She practiced for 22 years as a registered nurse, specializing in critical care, home health, and hospice care. At the Leadership Institute of Seattle / Bastyr University, she studied systems counseling and received a Master of Arts degree in applied behavioral sciences. She has also studied shamanic healing practices and received initiation into cross-cultural shamanism through the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. Devrah integrates all of these skills, along with compassion and humor, into her private practice as a systems therapist in Seattle. She focuses on the issues of spiritual exploration, cultural adaptation, and interpersonal relationships. Devrah is also passionate about teaching. She facilitates retreats and workshops in the shamanic visionary experience and shamanic healing practices. She offers further instruction through a women’s journey circle and the Women’s Initiation Program. Whether engaged in shamanic healing sessions, practicing private therapy, or teaching indigenous spiritual practices, Devrah offers a new vision of healing: to re-member the wholeness of our humanity through the integration of spirit and body. She holds this vision of the whole being for all who come to work with her, while providing direction, comfort, instruction, and heartfelt support for their personal journeys into life.
